Cost of 2012 Super Bowl Commercial
$3.5 million: Average cost of a 30-second Super Bowl commercial this year, according to multiple media reports.
583,333: Six packs of beer, at a price of $6 per pack, that could be purchased for the price of an average Super Bowl ad.
2.8 million: 2-liter bottles of pop that could be purchased, at $1.25 per bottle.
117: Automobiles that could be purchased, at $30,000 a piece.
368,421: Movie tickets that could be purchased, at $9.50 each.
The only thing bigger than the game itself on Super Bowl Sunday are the commercials that come with it. Shazam, the smartphone app, is rolling out an enhanced way to consume in-game content, Shazam enabled advertising and Madona’s half time show. Could Shazam be the future of god awful QR codes?
