What a 5 year old thinks of popular logos.
It is interesting to see which logos she clearly knows and can identify with.
Top-notch invasive advertising.
Superette, a boutique clothing store in New Zealand is using plates installed on benches to imprint their ad onto the back of bare legs. The ad agency DDB who is behind the campaign explains:
“We put indented plates on bus stop, mall, and park benches, so that when people sat down, the message was imprinted on their thighs. This meant that as well as having branded seats, a veritable army of free media was created, with thousands of imprints being created and lasting up to an hour.”
Heineken recently introduced its new STR bottle, launching it simultaneously in New York and Los Angeles.
The inspiration for the bottle came from dark nightclubs, where UV lights illuminate the dance floor. When UV light hits the aluminium bottle, it reveals the hidden underlying graphic pattern of shooting stars – and the aluminium bottle keeps the beer deliciously cool.
Once again, Heineken has proven that it is innovative and has the courage to respond in new ways to different times when people consume its products.

Still, it’s a damn shame, because the past 12 months have witnessed a raft of branding innovations, from a classed-up packaging concept for Tang to logos that morph across the full spectrum of modern-day media.
